The Jungle Book
The Jungle Book is about a little boy about a year old who gets abandoned in the jungle. He grows up to be a wonderful kid raised by a panther, bear, and some wolves. He is playing with the Bandar-log (monkeys) and gets trapped. So when the panther and the bear hear about it, they get Kaa, the snake has to go and save Mowgli (the boy.) When they get there Kaa gets the Bandar-log's attention by hissing. Mowgli gets saved after that.

Holes is about a young teenage boy who gets shipped off to a camp for kids that have done wrong. When you go to this camp you will have to dig holes. The camp counslers say,( Everytime you dig a hole it will improve your atditude). But the real reason is that over one hundred and ten years ago that an outlaw named Katie Bell robbed a whole bunch of banks and stole jewels and and buried it in the desert where the boys are digging. So everyday the boys dig a hole and the counslers hope that one of the boys will dig up the treasure.

Then at the end of the book, there is only 3 girls, and they all get married.
